This is a blog for the virtual newbie, the virtual f’ing new guy if you will, hence the name virtualfng.  While, in actuality, i’m not “new” to Virtualization, and have a few years of experience under my belt with both VMware vSphere and Hyper-V products, I feel each day is a learning process.  One thing I learned over the years is that you can’t possibly know everything is this field, but you can always try to attain knowledge and experience.  I created this blog to document my journey as I train and work with Virtualized infrastructure and software.  I work for Xerox as a System Consultant Supervisor.  You can read all about me by clicking the “About” tab up top.   My goal here is to discuss and gain insight with virtual products and the supporting infrastructure ie storage, networking, compute..etc, and to share my personal experiences while I stand up VMware and Hyper-V solutions in real world and lab environments, as well as pursuing my VMware/EMC/Cisco certification track.

I hope to see you along the way!!
